Beginning programming: Dark GDK or C++?

i've recently started to learn programming. Would I be better off starting with just C++ or going straight to Dark GDK?

emm... I recommened you try and learn the basics of C++ first. This will just make learning DarkGDK easier. You should try and learn loops, functions, if statement and other simple things, then move onto DarkGDK

is basics is really enough ? coz i just finished all beginner guides i could find, so should i search for more advanced books or is okay only to know basics ?

well... i know functions, a little class type, if, while, do-while, for and stuff ;D im learning about switch now

that's really all you need to get to grips with DarkGDK, you'll pick up more c++ as you go
