Ive recently gotten into c++ and dont understand void. Im learning from a book and ive looked back in the book but i cant find a spot where they book explains it. What exactly is its purpose?

do you mean as a function type?

if so, it basically means that function won't return a value...as oppose to "Int" which will return an integer value.

I think in C++ it's pretty much required if you aren't going to have the function return anything.
